FORT WORTH, Texas (Dec. 11, 2008) – While at the International Council of Air Shows Convention in Las Vegas this week, the Fort Worth Alliance Air Show secured the U.S. Navy Blue Angels as the featured performer for this year’s event, which is now scheduled for October 24-25. This is expected to be the only North Texas performance by a major U.S. military jet team.

In addition the Fort Worth Alliance Air Show earned first place in the event website category (www.allianceairshow.com) and third place in the event sponsor package category at annual ICAS Marketing Awards Luncheon on Wednesday.
