  • Is the air show a drive-in event?
    • This will be a hybrid drive-in air show with the addition of the Landing Zone, a 1.5-acre area full of exciting ground attractions, activities and exhibits for all ages.

  • Can we walk around outside of our parking area?
    • Yes, view the show while enjoying the many activities, attractions and exhibits offered at the new 1.5-acre Landing Zone.

  • What time do the United States Blue Angels fly?
    • The United States Navy Blue Angels will be performing mid to late afternoon. For security measures, we are unable to provide a specific start time. The air show performances start at approximately 10 a.m. and last until approximately 4:30 p.m.

  • Can the airport accommodate fly-in traffic during the air show?
    • AFW is unable to accommodate fly-in traffic on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. The closest airport to AFW is Meacham Airport 817.392.5400.

  • I purchased a parking pass. How do I get in?
    • When you purchased the tickets, you should have printed a form with a bar code. Bring the print-out to the access point of the purchased parking and/or seating area. Your ticket will be scanned and validated upon entry. Keep the print-out with you at the air show.

  • Is there a schedule for performers?
    • For security measures, we cannot provide a schedule of performers in advance of the air show. A performer line-up is available in the air show program. In addition, we will have performer updates on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram during the show. Follow us on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.

  • What type of food is available at the concession stands?
    • Food options include Cheeseburger, Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Jumbo All-Beef Hot Dogs, Chicken Tenders, Deli Hoagie, Chicken Ceasar Salad, Combos with French Fries and much more! Drink options include Soda (20 oz), Bottled Water, Lemonade, Limeade, Iced Tea, Wine and Cold Beer. Expect pricing similar to other festivals and sporting events. Food options are subject to change.

  • How much are food and beverages?
    •  Food items range from $4.75 – $9 per item. Expect pricing similar to other festivals or sporting events.

  • Where do Motorcycles Park?
    • Motorcycles park in the same lot as buses. From I-35W, exit Westport Parkway. Turn left onto Westport. Turn right on Heritage Parkway. Turn left onto Flightline Road. Follow the directional signs. This is a paved area. The police also will direct you to the proper location. Please note that General Parking is $59 per vehicle, and Friends & Family Parking is $89 per vehicle per day of the air show. Motorcycle parking is two motorcycles in one parking spot for the price of one car. We encourage carpooling and vanpooling as a more affordable option.

  • How much are tickets to the show?
    • To view updated ticket pricing, please check out our tickets page.

  • May we bring in bags? Umbrellas? Portable chairs?
    • Yes, you may bring in these items. Please note that all bags are subject to search at the entrance. For a complete list of acceptable items and restrictions, please see our event info page.

  • Which items are restricted?
    • Glass bottles or containers, portable awnings/tents, household pets, firearms, bicycles, skateboards, scooters or in-line skates, drones, open flames or grills, overnight camping, RV’s or trailers and smoking are NOT ALLOWED on the grounds. Please see the event info page for more information.

  • May we take pictures?
    • Yes, non-professional photography is allowed. Purchase seats for the Photo Pit for the best option for photographers. Please note that bags are subject to search. Accredited media need to obtain a media pass in advance.

  • How can I purchase a seat?
    • Please visit our Tickets Page for more information.

  • Where is the lost and found?
    • Lost and Found is on the east side of the control tower in the Landing Zone.

  • Where is the First Aid area?
    • First Aid is located on the east side of the control tower in the Landing Zone.

  • Where can I find directions? Parking Info?
    • Please check out the parking and directions for more information.

  • May we bring in food and drinks?
    • Food and drinks ARE ALLOWED to be brought into the show. Food and drinks will also be available for purchase at the event. Must be 21 or older to order beer or wine with a valid ID. No cash transactions. Credit or debit card only.

  • May I leave the Air Show and come back in?
    • The Air Show is free admission, so you can leave and return. However, each time you enter the parking lot, you will need to pay for parking.

  • What time do performances begin?
    • Aerial performances begin at approximately 10 a.m. Sunday is a repeat of performances on Saturday.

  • Is there a map of the air show?
    • All show maps are available in the program, available for sale at the air show.

  • Will free public water be provided?
    • No. Bottled water and other beverages will be available for purchase.

  • Is there a rain date?
    • A rain date will not be available. If severe weather causes the air show to be canceled, a message will be posted to the website’s home page and social media pages. Be sure to refresh the page (clear the cache) as it may take time for the home page update to populate across the internet.

  • What time does the show end?
    • The show lasts until the late afternoon- approximately 4:30 p.m.

  • May I bring in a wagon to pull the kids?
    • Yes, a non-motorized wagon is allowed

  • Can we bring a canopy or tent for shade?
    • To maintain good visibility for all audience members, neither canopies nor tents are allowed. However, guests may bring in an umbrella for shade.

  • May we camp overnight on the air show grounds?
    • Camping or overnight parking is not available. The closest RV park is Northlake Village in Roanoke, TX. http://www.northlakevillagerv.com/

  • For the paid seating options, are children the same price?
    • Please visit our Tickets Page for more information.

  • Are public restrooms available?
    • Yes, public restrooms (including handicap-accessible restrooms) will be available in each parking area and the Landing Zone. A map identifying the locations of restrooms is available in the air show program.

  • May we bring in pets to the air show?
    • Unfortunately, due to moving vehicles within the parking areas and for the safety of the airfield, pets are not allowed on the air show grounds.

  • What merchandise items/supplies are available for sale at the air show?
    • Items available for purchase at the air show include sunscreen, a souvenir hat, a souvenir program, a souvenir poster and more.

  • How do we pay for purchases?
    • The air show is a cashless event. There will be no ATMs available on-site.

  • Are we able to rent a wheelchair at the air show?
    • Unfortunately, wheelchair rental is not available at the air show. Handicap parking is available for those with appropriate designation.

  • Where is handicap parking?
    • Please bring the appropriate designation for your vehicle. From 135W, exit Westport Parkway. Turn left onto Westport. Turn right onto Heritage Parkway. Turn left onto Flightline Road. Follow the directional signs. The police will direct you to the proper location.

  • How do I keep my car battery from dying if I plan to listen to the event from my car?
    • Turn your car on every hour or so for about 10 minutes to try and keep the radio from draining your car battery. If your car battery dies, pop your hood open so the jump start cart team can find you easier.
